Mil is part of the Euromil? joint venture with european helicopter producer Eurocopter?.
Mil Helicopters merged with several other russian helicopter producers like Kamov? and Rostvertol? to form Oboronprom Corp? in 2006. They retained the Mil brand, but the new company closed down overlapping product facilities.
